Small town Mexico

Small town or even back street of larger towns - I wonder who has seen this kind of scene. The costumes may be different with baseball cap or a more modern cowboy hat and menos the serape. I run into scenes like this quite often

Certainly looks like a typical street scene around here - sombrero, serape, et al.

I take the back roads when I can, the getting there takes longer but meals stays with me better.

Maybe the west coast has more of a cowboy thing going on ... except for indigenous areas with more traditional dress
