Small town Mexico

Small town or even back street of larger towns - I wonder who has seen this kind of scene. The costumes may be different with baseball cap or a more modern cowboy hat and menos the serape. I run into scenes like this quite often

Certainly looks like a typical street scene around here - sombrero, serape, et al.

I take the back roads when I can, the getting there takes longer but meals stays with me better.

Maybe the west coast has more of a cowboy thing going on ... except for indigenous areas with more traditional dress

Lovely, lovely photo.

The construction of the house finished in April 2011 and I'm pretty much settled in. As of March 2014 I'm in preparation for rain mode for this coming summer. That includes sealing and painting things and dealing with drainage issues from last year.
