My pain in the cat

He looks so peaceful

But he is anything but peaceful. I've never met a more demanding animal. Every time I open the front door he comes running wanting in. Three minutes later he wants out. Food in his plate is not enough, he wants it refreshed. I used to feed him outside but the neighbors cats would get it, And he can't shut up.

He catches and eats part of a lizard and then vomits. Sometimes he vomits after eating his Whiskers, I have no idea why. Iguanas like to sun themselves on my back wall so lies in wait. A few weeks ago he brought one into the yard that was about half as big as he is. I was able to separate them and Tomas lost his play thing.

I hate to see this

But these doves around here need to wake up

This is number three in four days. My cat Tomas brought the second one up to me and I took it away from him. I was sure the bird was finished but took it upstairs and held it on the railing for a few minutes. It shook it's head, spread it's wings and flew over to my neighbors roof.

Normally Tomas kills frogs, small snakes and bats just for entertainment but that bird is all gone. There's also a couple of iguanas on the neighbors wall that he stalks but they are fast and one is almost as large as the cat. That too may just be the Hunting Game he likes to play

The construction of the house finished in April 2011 and I'm pretty much settled in. As of March 2014 I'm in preparation for rain mode for this coming summer. That includes sealing and painting things and dealing with drainage issues from last year.
