glad to hear you've put on that bus driver's cap! i knew it was inevitable. the school books are beautiful. reading your blog, i realize how much we miss not being there much of the year. it sounds like the community is really starting to pull together with fund raising for events. or was it always so? just how much rain has there been? should we be concerned with our roof? we still have no return date as danny has lots of work here. take care, scott. linda d.

The construction of the house finished in April 2011 and I'm pretty much settled in. As of March 2014 I'm in preparation for rain mode for this coming summer. That includes sealing and painting things and dealing with drainage issues from last year.
