Fuel spill feared for Llanitos

The Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) reports that the shipping company responsible for the ship "Los Llanitos" stranded on the borders of the states of Jalisco and Colima after Hurricane "Patricia", started the installation of barriers containment to prevent spillage of 11,484 liters of oil and 489 m3 of diesel on the ship in their fuel tanks.

Plans are also under way to remove both oil and diesel in case the ship breaks up. It's not likely the ship will ever move again.

The construction of the house finished in April 2011 and I'm pretty much settled in. As of March 2014 I'm in preparation for rain mode for this coming summer. That includes sealing and painting things and dealing with drainage issues from last year.
