Did I say HOT?

Only a couple table spoons of the curry mix was super hot. I had to add more potatoes, broccoli and other veggies to expand the volume. I think I'm set for a few months of cooking with curry. Need to go rice shopping because the normal white rice here is very flat flavor wise. Had your comments feature been working, I would've warned you. Those spice mixes are potent. I made the mistake of following the recipe on the box one time, and the product was inedible. Those are great blends, but they need to be used sparingly.

Evidently it is still not working because I only got the email notification. Maybe it'll pop up later

Yes .... glad Linda warned me as I'd hate to throw the whole thing out. Very nice taste in the right portions

Alex at Hawaii has a great choice of rice. My favorite is a wild rice mix that goes very well with curry.

I was afraid I'd have to go .... but even whole grain would work

The construction of the house finished in April 2011 and I'm pretty much settled in. As of March 2014 I'm in preparation for rain mode for this coming summer. That includes sealing and painting things and dealing with drainage issues from last year.
