Rain Flower


I don't know what this is but it must be from a long lost bulb that the rain encouraged.   In the year I've lived here there has never been signs of life back in this patch of dirt.  The ground is totally saturated

Yes, I think a calla lily, too. They call them alcatraz in spanish.

I toss my vote in with Elke and Nancy. Calla lilies come in quite a few clors these days -- not just the traditional white.

I suspected but this one is so small and not white. Guess I'll see what they become in a few weeks.

That is a beautiful flower! It looks like a pink heart. :)

The construction of the house finished in April 2011 and I'm pretty much settled in. As of March 2014 I'm in preparation for rain mode for this coming summer. That includes sealing and painting things and dealing with drainage issues from last year.
