My first Mango

Look what I found under the tree yesterday. Small but this type (Ataulfo) doesn't get very large. It got a little 'yellower' over night and I think it will be ready tomorrow with bananas and yougurt. All the rest on the tree are getting color as well.

The mangoes off of my tree should be doing well. I will miss this season.

And in a few months I'll be back down to my vacant lot and have to start my own garden.

Much of our area is an old mango orchard so we have trees in the neighborhood at least

The construction of the house finished in April 2011 and I'm pretty much settled in. As of March 2014 I'm in preparation for rain mode for this coming summer. That includes sealing and painting things and dealing with drainage issues from last year.
